Our Thrifted Threads sustainable fashion event made a material difference in Tetbury on 14 June at The Goods Shed. The community was encouraged to re-use, repair and re-imagine the clothes we wear through a pre-loved fashion show, clothes swap and launch of our Meet Make Mend sessions.
Sustainable Fashion Show
Mary Dignan and Julie Hancox organised an inspiring showcase of pre-loved clothes from our local charity and vintage shops. All profits were returned to the participating charity shops.
Thank you to Mary, Julie, our excellent models, dressers and helpers, as well as the Goods Shed volunteers and shops who made this event happen.
Check out more photos and videos from the runway on our Instagram below.
Meet Make Mend Launch
We also launched our new Meet to Make and Mend sessions at the fashion event. We had lots of interest in this new initiative and can't wait to run our first session in July.
